PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Handmade from Rajasthan appliqué blankets by a women’s collective near Jodhpur, India.

Feel like a princess in this handcrafted translucent cloud of a blouse. Perfect as jacket on top of a colorful dress on your way to a wedding or wear it casual on vintage jeans and a contrasting shirt for a sheer special effect.

This delicate robe celebrates local craftswomen and the typical handwork from the deserts near the blue city of Jodhpur.

Due to the unique characteristics of the fabric, every item is different. We chose to create four sizes for this style. This item is size:

Try it on: Do you want to try it on and happen to be in Amsterdam? You are always welcome to visit our studio in the city centre, at ‘de Wallen’. Please make your appointment via the contact form. Due to the one-of-a-kind character of this product, it is advised to buy the product in advance and ‘reserve’ your item. Select ‘studio pick-up’ from the shipment options, this way you don’t have to pay for shipping. In case the item doesn’t live up to your expectations, we will reimburse the full payment.

CARE

With a long term relationship in mind, store, wear and wash your cotton appliqué item with these tips and help the longevity of your handmade garment’s life.

• Cold hand wash with eco-friendly detergent.
• Dry clean to remove stains.
• Press or iron without getting stuck in the appliqué work
• Hang to reduce creasing, preferably with a natural moth repellent.

Ethically made in Bhikamkor, India.

Made by our partner collective Saheli Women, a non-profit clothing manufacturer in rural Rajasthan. Focusing on women empowerment by teaching income-generating skills, offering jobs with fair wages and a safe environment for themselves and their family.

Every piece carries a small biography of the woman who stitched the garment to you get to know her a little. She put her love into handmaking it especially for you and receives her fair share of payment.

With a zero-waste and no-plastic policy, Saheli Women packs all garments in handmade bags, created out of waste-fabric and embroidered with our logo. A little gift for you!

SHIPPING

We ship from Amsterdam in the Netherlands to most parts of the world. 

Delivery Rates & Time

After your payment is verified, it may take up to 24 hours to process and ship your order. This does not include weekends or holidays. Purchases made after 9AM (Amsterdam time) will not be shipped out until the next business day. 

We include tracking details with every shipment.
